OK i got a question?

i am 16 soon to be 17 and when i was in 1rst grade i was in a car accident and was in a coma and what not and because i hit my head so hard it screwed up my scenses and i couldnt really eat anything without adding alot of salt to my food and because i was only a kid it didnt really effect me untill i was about 12 or 13 but anyways i usually saly my food like everyother time i take a bite. When i thought about it i dont eat alot at all of unheathy i just add alot of salt cause im so used to it. so overapril vacation i decided not to eat salt for that week and i drank ALOT of water and i lost about 3lbs in 3 days without excersing. im going to the beach in a month or so... and i wanna be thinner....so i decided ill stop eating salt again and drink water and what not but is there more i can do to get rid of water retention. i way about 175lbs and im 5 2. and its only in my belly.
