Abdominal Pain and early pregnancy?

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I've watched my cycle carefully and, hopefully, timed things correctly. 2-3 days post ovulation I experienced severe abdominal pain. It hit me very suddenly and lasted about 1.5 hours. It was so severe that I was convinced that I had appendicitis. It hurt to walk or move and I was doubled over the entire time. After about 90 minutes it began to slowly go away. I have felt fine in the two days since. I've had my gallbladder removed, so I know that isn't the cause. I'm now concerned with ectopic pregnancy. Would it be too soon for symptoms to be noticed? I'm not even sure if I am pregnant. I'm not scheduled to start my period for 10 days. Thanks for any help!
