Blackberry Help?????????

When i plug my phone into my laptop it enables storage mode. Then i go to my computer and click my removable storage which is my blackberry. Then i go into pictures and the pictures dont show up, but they show up on my phone. It says their REM files? What do I do to get them onto my computer? Thanks. And its a blackberry curve.
