As a conservative(mostly) agnostic, I find it quite puzzling why so many (not all) liberals are so obsessed?

"to push your views on others". Funny, that is EXACTLY what Christians do all the time. After all, they are "called" to do so by their imaginary savior. So, by resisting that and pointing out how what they believe is nothing more than a fairy tale we are not "pushing" our views on anyone. We are simply reacting to the dominant religion in our society.
